HALLOWEEN DESSERT Β· AI CONCEPT
Vanilla sponge, mascarpone and peach marzipan shaped into a nose, with little edible domes filled with pear-vanilla gel. A sweet illusion for 6β8 servings, ready for a real kitchen experiment.
AI-generated visuals. This 45-second video is food inspiration, not a kitchen-tested recipe. The shape, texture and filling have not been validated in a real kitchen.
What is it made from?
- 500 g β Baked vanilla sponge
- 150 g β Mascarpone, for layers
- 100 g β Buttercream, thin coating
- 450 g β Marzipan, cover + domes
- 150 g β Smooth pear purΓ©e
- 20 g β Sugar
- 2 g β Gelatin, 200 Bloom
- 20 ml β Cold water for gelatin
- 1 tsp β Vanilla extract
- 20 g β Chocolate, for details
- a little β Peach, pink, ivory food colours
Proposed preparation steps
- Layer the baked sponge with mascarpone, then carve the shape. Carve the bridge, tip and nostrils. Keep trimmings to build the contours.
- Spread a thin buttercream coat. Roll out about 300 g of peach-tinted marzipan, cover the cake and smooth its contours.
- Soften gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes. Warm pear purΓ©e and sugar without boiling. Off the heat, mix in gelatin and vanilla. Chill until thickened, then stir into a soft gel.
- Use the remaining 150 g marzipan to make 15β20 small hollow thin shells. Add a little cooled gel to each. Seal the underside with a thin marzipan disc and place seam-down on the cake.
- Tint the edges pink and centres ivory with edible colours. Add chocolate details. Refrigerate until serving.
- Pierce a dome gently with a clean chopstick, then press beside it to release the gel. The gel consistency and shell thickness still need a real kitchen test. Contains wheat, egg, milk and almonds. Gelatin is animal-derived.
Questions about this concept
Is the nose filling the same as the face filling?
The nose has its own pear-vanilla filling with gelatin. Use its ingredient list: it differs from the cornstarch-and-cream filling proposed for the face.
When are the nostrils shaped?
The proposed sequence carves the bridge, tip and nostrils from the layered sponge before the thin buttercream coating and marzipan covering are added.
