HALLOWEEN DESSERT Β· AI CONCEPT
For 8 servings: a broad oval sponge cake with mascarpone, a modeled marzipan nose and lips, and chocolate grated directly above the chin. AI visuals are not a real cooking demonstration.
AI-generated visuals. This short video is food inspiration, not a kitchen-tested recipe. The shape, texture and filling have not been validated in a real kitchen.
What is it made from?
- 500 g β Baked vanilla sponge, in two layers
- 150 g β Mascarpone
- 100 g β Buttercream
- 450 g β Marzipan
- 30 g β Dark chocolate
- 150 g β Pear purΓ©e
- 20 g β Sugar
- 5 g β Cornstarch
- 60 ml β Heavy cream
- 1 tsp β Vanilla extract
- 1 tsp β Edible glue
- small amounts β Peach, pink and ivory edible colours
Proposed preparation steps
- Whisk starch into cold cream. Add pear and sugar; heat while whisking and simmer 1 min. Add vanilla off heat, cool and refrigerate.
- Stack the two sponge layers with mascarpone. Round the corners into a broad oval with a gently squared jaw.
- Thin buttercream coat. Reserve 100 g marzipan; tint the rest peach and roll to 2β3 mm. Cover the top, smooth and trim.
- Add a short cone for the nose, blend its edges and indent two nostrils. Flatten two slim ropes for the lips and mark their seam.
- Melt 10 g chocolate; pipe closed eyes and short brows. Reserve 20 g as a solid piece for the beard.
- Make 8β10 hollow pink caps (12 mm). Add a few drops of cold cream, seal underneath with a thin disc and place seam-down.
- Almost-dry food brush: dab a pink halo around the domes, then blend. Add a tiny cream or ivory marzipan dot on top.
- Thin edible glue on chin and jaw. Grate chocolate DIRECTLY OVER the cake with quick short strokes. Add a few moustache flakes with a dry brush.
- Refrigerate. Pierce a dome with a clean skewer and gently press. Untested recipe: shell stability and cream flow need kitchen checks. Round the cone tip and widen its base slightly before placing the nose; blend the joins with a rounded tool. Pinch the lips at their ends. Keep the sponge and mascarpone side layers visible. Fill the caps upside down, pinch their sealing discs, then turn them over. Use only a few drops of filling per cap; serve the remainder separately. Dilute food colours according to their instructions and wipe excess off the brush. Hold the grater a few centimetres above the chin, keep fingers away from its teeth and move it slightly to distribute shavings. Use a dry brush for a few moustache flakes without covering the domes. Cream flow, quantities and shell stability need real kitchen testing; AI images are not a real cooking demonstration. Allergens: wheat/gluten, eggs, milk, almonds; chocolate may contain soy. Check labels.
Questions about this concept
What is the beard made from?
The proposed decoration uses 20 g of dark chocolate grated directly over a thin edible-glue layer on the chin and jaw. The remaining 10 g forms the eyes and eyebrows.
How are the nose and cream domes formed?
A short marzipan cone is blended into the face and indented for nostrils. Small hollow marzipan caps receive a few drops of cooled pear-vanilla cream, are sealed underneath and placed seam-down. Their stability and cream flow have not been kitchen-tested.
